Each year Friends of the Children of West Hawaii is excited to be able to offer our annual Christmas Gift Project to abused, neglected, abandoned, and at-risk youth in our community. Our 2019 project is called DEAR SANTA, and this year the program has been revised slightly. Each qualifying child who would like to request a gift is asked to write a letter to Santa. A hard copy form is available from Friends of the Children of West Hawaii's office or from most of our community non-profit partners. The form can also be completed online right here. Letters must be submitted by November 10, 2019! Christmas gifts will be distributed through a "Cookies with Santa" event in December or through social workers and community partners.

If you are a child or the parent/guardian of a child who qualifies for assistance and would like to make a request from Santa for Christmas, please feel free to complete this form and submit it before November 10, 2019.

Although he wishes he could, Santa can't do everything on his own at this time of year. Friends of the Children of West Hawaii is always grateful for any who would like to join the ranks of Santa's Little Helpers by making a donation in support of the Dear Santa project. The following is a list of some of the items that are regularly requested each year:

We also frequently receive requests for gift cards from Target, Famous Footwear, Kona Stories, Jeans Warehouse, Ross Dress For Less, and Macy's. We ask that any donations of gift cards be either $10, $25, or $50 values.

We are also always grateful for financial donations to the cause. Should you wish to donate financially for our personnel to purchase items specifically requested by children in our community, please click on the "DONATE" link at the bottom of the page to donate through our secure PayPal account.
